What is a mobile wifi easymifi?
It is a 3G handheld device which provides you with wireless and unlimited internet access anywhere in Spain. It works just like any other wifi hotspot, but with individual and exclusive use and fits in your pocket. It provides access to internet up to eight devices: iphone, smartphone,tablet, laptop, camera,etc. In all over Spanish territory, Peninsula, Balearic and Canary islands.
How do I rent easymifi? Delivery and return of the device.
Make your booking through our web, you only have to tell us where you want to receive the pack easymifi, the dates of your travel and if you want to pay with credit card or Paypal.
At hotel or accommodation with reception
If you stay at hotel or apartment with reception, the easymifi team will be incharge of the delivery at the place indicated, one day before of your arrival. Easymifi will contact with the Reception staff. If you make the reservation for the next day, until 5:30 p.m. via online, the package will be delivered between 9:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m. from monday to friday, (saturday from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. under petition, it depends on the locality).
At apartment or private residence
If you stay at apartment or private residence, we will send the device to the address indicated, so this way will be necessary that there is one person to attend the courier. Deliveries from monday to friday from 9:00 a.m. till 2:00 p.m., (saturday from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. under petition, it depends on the locality). We can also set the delivery, before your arrival, at any reliable place: real state agency, an office, neighbour address, landford.
At airports: Madrid-Barajas and Barcelona-El Prat
If you want to collect your Easymifi device upon arrival, find next the detailed location of the locker service managed by the company: Excess-baggage. The reservation must be made at least 2 days in advance and you must present a passport or national identity card to pick up the package.
At special pickup points
If you can not be at home or simply prefer to pickup the EasyMifi pack at the delegation of the courier company, you only have to indicate it in your reservation. Schedule: Monday to Friday 8:30 a.m.-2:00 p.m. and 4:30-7: 00, Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.
If you book from Monday to Friday for the next day, until 5:30 p.m. online, the device will be available at 8:30 a.m. the next day in the indicated delegation. (Saturday at 9:00 a.m. on request). If you are staying in a hotel with reception, put the easymifi pack inside the sealed envelope and return it at the reception desk of your accommodation place. If you wish to do it, you can write down your name in the package for the control of the reception staff, although is not necessary. Easymifi will arrange to pick it up after your departure.
At apartment or private residence
If you are staying in an apartment or private residence, put the easymifi pack inside the sealed envelope, there must be a person in charged to deliver it to the courier. Collected from Monday to Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.. We can also set the pick up, after your departure, at any reliable place: real state agency, an office, neighbour address, landford.
At special return points
If you prefer to return the easymifi device at the headquarters of the nearest courier company, you only have to indicate in your reservation. Schedule: Monday to Friday 8:30 a.m.-2:00 p.m. and 4:30 p.m.-7:00 p.m., Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. In the following links you can locate the nearest return point, introducing zip code and city. When must I rent easymifi?
We recommend you to do the booking at least 3 days prior to the starting day of the rental. However in high season (May to October) and at Christmas, at punctual dates it is possible that we do not have devices available, so we suggest you to make your reservation as early as possible.
You also have the possibility to make the reservations for the next day, until 17:30 p.m. online (Spain time), the package will be delivered between 9:00 a.m. and 14:00 p.m. from Monday to Friday (Saturday 9:00 a.m. -11:00 a.m. on request, depending on the locality).
What does the easymifi packaging contain?
We delivery you everything necessary for the perfect functioning of the easymifi device:
- 3G Router with SIM card included.
- Car charger, wall charger and USB
- Instruction manual and carry case.
Speed - Data Plans - Voip - Battery capacity
It can change depending on the intensity of the sign, the average of the download speed is 10 Mbps and can reach 21 Mbps, the upload speed is about 5 Mbps.
Which is my data plan?
The easymif device provides unlimited connectivity at full speed.
Can I use easymifi for VOIP calls (Skype, Viber, FaceTime, etc.)?
Yes, you will be able to make VOIP calls with our easymifi device
Which length has the battery of the easymifi device?
It can works for 6 hours in full performance. 30 hours in low performance, and it can remains in Standby 280 hours. The duration of battery charge, between 3-4 hours.
How many devices can be connected at the same time?
8 devices can be connected simultaneously to the network easymifi (Iphone, smartphone, tablet, laptop, PS3, PS4, Xbox, Xbox360 …)
What is the coverage of easymifi?
It has 3G coverage in 99% of Spanish territory; Peninsula, Balearic and Canary Islands.
It can be used outside Spain?
No, the devices are blocked for its use outside Spain.
Until what distance is easymifi operational?
Easymifi creates a wifi network in a perimeter from 10 to 15 meters.
Is there 3G signal at the sea?
Yes, it depends on the distance you keep with the coast. If you are sailing in the Peninsula, Balearic and Canary Islands, the 3G signal can reach up to 7 nautical miles approximately.
How can I connect to Internet with easymifi?
It´s Very easy, once you receive the EasyMifi device, you only have to keep pressed the power button a few seconds until all lights in the panel are switched up, once the power lights are intermittent, select the Network and enter the password as detailed in the kit label and on the back of EasyMifi device, and you're connected.
What I can do once connected?
- Sending of e-mails, instantaneous messenger: Whatsapp, Gtalk, Messenger …
- The social networks: Facebook, Twitter, Tuenti, G +...
- VoIP, Skype, Viber, FaceTime, Gtalk...
- To use tools for navigation and positioning: Google Maps, Foursquare...

What can I do if the easymifi device does not work properly?
If the problem is in the network or the connectivity:
- I can not see the EasyMifi once I switch on the device.
Maybe you have pressed the reset button of the device, so the device will return to the factory settings, in this case the visible network name could it be HUAWEI-E5330-XXX-XXXX or MobileWIFI, so you have to connect again with the same password indicated at the back of the mifi, The device will have the same benefits coverage and connection speed.
- I can not connect to the internet even though I'm connected to the network EasyMifi.
You may be in an area where there is no 3G coverage or the signal strength is too low, try to test the device on another part of the house or other location abroad.
-The connection has become unstable or slow.
It may be due to a problem of saturation of 3G networks, which at some point in time, is near to traffic areas, such as stadiums, concerts or tourist sites, can cause performance temporarily reduced.
If the problem is electrical, the device suddenly turns off or doesn’t switch it on:
Make sure the device EasyMifi is charging when you are connected to the electric al connection, check the battery symbol, which should be flashing while charging.
- In most cases the problem is that the wall charger stopped working, and the device does not load properly, you can use your charger Samsung / iPhone / iPad or connect it directly to your PC USB / laptop.
- In case that the cable is defective, it could be used another USB / microUSB of your devices.

Can I extend my period of rent?
Could it be possible to buy the EasyMifi device or rent only the SIM card?
No, currently we only rent the EasyMifi pack and the card is not rented separately.
What does it happen if I cancel my booking?
The following fees will be charged:
- No fees: if it is cancelled before three days the start of the already confirmed rent.
- 15´00 euros vat included: if it is cancelled with less than 72 hours of the start of the already confirmed rent.
When is the deposit returned?
What can you do if you forget to deliver the easymifi packaging and return to your country with it?
You will have to inform about this to easymifi team as soon as possible, and you will take charge of the fees related to the shipment by a courier company and you will have to send the device to the address that easymifi team tell you, and so, you will be in charge of the showed fees in the general terms and conditions.
